Ben heads our eDiscovery offering, working collaboratively with our global teams on investigation assignments. Ben has over 15 years of experience in professional services, with over 13 years spent specifically in eDiscovery and investigations.

During his career, Ben has worked on hundreds of investigations (including litigation) in a wide variety of cases across multiple jurisdictions. In 2021 Ben was employed to set up and lead our eDiscovery arm. Ben regularly utilizes the most up-to-date techniques to find relevant documents, such as Technology Assisted Review (TAR), which incorporates Concept Searching, Image Analysis, Sentiment Analysis, Machine Learning, and more.

Recent assignment highlights

  • Airline investigation: 6 million emails/docs reduced down to a judicially approved 44 thousand emails/docs through the use of Technology Assisted Review (Machine Learning).
  • Employment: internal fraud investigation involving both interrogations of individuals’ activities through the use of ‘Concept Clustering’, and responding to a wide-ranging DSAR (Data Subject Access Request).
  • Energy trading: multiple computer collections and data consolidation prior to assisting law firm with the management of review team (searches, batches, review phases), assisting with the completion of DRD (Disclosure Review Document), and commentary on opposing parties’ DRD.
